Induction by Diva

In the past 40 years cooking technologies have not changed. To date, the four existing technologies are: conduction (hot element technology), convection (heat by air ? moist or dry), microwave and induction. Of all these technologies induction offers the most power, the most flexibility, the most safety and the best performance.

Induction, by design, incorporates safety automatically because it?s an energy source and not a heat source. This design is also what allows induction to out perform all other cook top technologies. The principle of induction is quite simple: electromagnetic energy excites the metallic molecules in the pan and from this heat is created. Since the pan itself produces the heat, the actual cooking is done with very little caloric loss and very little thermal inertia. This means that the available heat is always at a maximum and that when the power is shut-off or when the pan is removed from the coil the cooking will stop instantaneously.

?Induction By Diva? is equipped with numerous safety features, which are controlled by a microprocessor. This system allows the unit to constantly monitor all the cook top activity and electronic circuitry, thereby ensuring optimum performance and efficiency. ?Induction By Diva? also provides the user with several advantages not available on traditional cook tops:

Esthetics: The controls are extremely functional and smooth to the touch. The design and color will melt harmoniously into the environment of today?s kitchen.

Power: This cook top is the most powerful on the market today (2800W) because of this new technology and power; energy consumption will be cut in half and cooking times greatly reduced.

Safety: The cook top will only reach a maximum temperature of 482o F (as compared to halogen at 1,112o F). This feature is designed to prevent empty pans from overheating and pans with small amounts of oil from combusting. This feature also helps to reduce the chance of burns when skin comes into contact with the top, to simplify cleanup from spills and lower the ambient temperature around the cook top. The coil will only produce energy when the pan is detected. If the coil is turned on with no pan detection it will automatically turn off. If the coil is turned on with the pan on top and no instruction given, the coil will turn off. Due to the magnetic requirement of the pan, small wares, silverware, jewelry and non-magnetic cookware will not engage the coil.

Simmering: This cook top is designed to simmer or reheat food at temperatures, which are three times lower than those using other technologies (50W).

Flexibility: Each coil has three presets for medium, high and boiling, to that you can manually adjust the coil setting from low to boiling.

Cleaning: Spills will never bake on to the top making clean up possible with water and a damp sponge.

Installation: The cook top comes fully assembled and ready-to-use. It operates in a similar fashion to other electric cook tops and requires no previous instruction.
